In and Around Granada

In and around Granada there are many beautiful and relaxing places to visit. While living or vacationing in Granada you can visit Lake Nicaragua, Mombacho, Ometepe, and Laguna de Apoyo. Lake Nicaragua is less than a kilometer east of downtown Granada. The lake has a lot to offer and is quite beautiful. There are several clubs on the water that can be quite fun at night. The lake also has many tours available and islands for sale. The Isletas are a great place to have a relaxing tour. Also on the lake is the Island of Ometepe where Volcano Concepcion can be hiked. Laguna de Apoyo is a 10 min drive from Granada. Laguna de Apoyo is a dormant volcanic crater lake. The lake's water can not be found anywhere else. The water is slightly salty and cleans and nourishes the skin.
