As the legend is told, the Aztecs were memorized by an eagle landing on a cactus while devouring a snake. On this iconic spot they created a metropolis comprised of temples and other impressive monuments. This fabulous city became known as Mexico City. First time visitors sometimes are fearful as Mexico City is large and it can sometimes intimidate the uninitiated.

The residents of Mexico primarily speak Spanish but tourists come from all over the World. Mexicos mix of culture, beauty, and favorable climate conditions make it a popular spot to visit. There is always something new to see in the land South of the Border.

Mexico is a country approximately three times the size of the state of Texas. Mexico is made up of 31 states and a single federal district. Its capital is Mexico City. Mexico City found its origins during the fourteenth century amidst a famous legend.

Chapultepec: This national history museum is located near a huge park divided into several areas, there is a lake, museums, zoo, and natural areas that include a medium forest like area... this local flavor visit is always a good time.

Just south of the city is Coyacan, with numerous wide streets, poets, artists, coffee shops, internet cafes, new French fusion restaurants, the young and old, and with a touch and feel of natural old Mexico living, it is a very special place for younger hipsters and older hipsters too.

Mexicos economy has its ups and downs but continues to grow as the years pass by. It contains a variety of climate conditions including tropical and desert settings that contain high plateaus, coastal lowlands, and mountains that reach as high as 18,000 feet. Its climate conditions vary depending upon the part of Mexico and the time of year, of course, but its generally favorable climate helps to make it a popular tourist destination.
