Holidays in Benidorm are especially popular during the summer months. Not only is Benidorm, Spain a popular vacation destination, many from Europe have and continue to purchase vacation homes in the area. Though its climate is beautiful during all seasons, the most popular travel time is during the summer months.
There are many accommodation choices available for your vacation. It has over 35,000 hotel rooms ranging from the large, luxury hotels to the smaller more basic hotels. You could also stay in one of the 200,000 plus apartments in the city, many of which are available as vacation rentals. As you see, finding somewhere to stay is not a hard task but keep in mind that you must make your reservation early if you are traveling during the summer.
Transportation to Benidorm is very convenient with its close proximity to one of Spain's larger airports in Alicante. Benidorm is approximately twenty-eight miles (45 kilometers) from Alicante, leading most visitors to fly into this airport. The Alicante airport offers a wide variety of flights from large carriers and discount airlines providing good priced fares from anywhere in North America or Europe.
Upon arriving to the airport, there are quite a few transportation options available. If you prefer to have freedom and flexibility to travel throughout the region, a care hire is probably the best transportation method for you. Choosing a car hire service eliminates the need to schedule your sightseeing and travel around the schedules of local public transportation. Car hire companies are located either at the airport or in the city of Benidorm where you will find over twenty car hire companies.
Public transportation is available at the airport. There is a bus running directly from the Alicante airport to Benidorm. It runs four times each day. Using the bus service is less expensive than a taxi, but if you do not want to wait until the next bus run, taxis are available at the airport. Though at a higher price, taxis provide much more flexibility than the bus service.
Another option is the train which runs from Alicante to Benidorm, but note that the train does not connect at the airport. You will need to take a bus to the train station located in the northern part of Benidorm's harbor area. The train is rather convenient and runs several times each day.
Once arriving in Benidorm, you will be glad you are there. Benidorm is famous for its vibrant night life all night. There are several discos and bars in the city of Benidorm. If you love the night life, dancing and music, you will definitely not want to miss the night life of Benidorm, Spain!
